BLUE VELVET

Frank Booth is the role Dennis Hopper was born and chemically mutated to own.  Sometimes David Lynch can teeter too far into the absurdity for absurdity's sake, but BLUE VELVET remains perfectly balanced as it dives into the dark, bizarre underbelly of society that lurks just below the surface of suburbia.  It is also worth noting that Blue Velvet, when screened in the first month of operation at the original Alamo, was the movie that inspired our strict "no talking" policy.
