DRUNKEN WU TANG

Back in the day, we would turn the Alamo Drafthouse into a Chinese restaurant one Sunday a month.  Karrie would helm the kitchen to produce an all Chinese menu, and I would program weirdo Hong Kong movies.  My favorite discover of that series was DRUNKEN WU TANG (not to be confused with the also awesome anchronistic Donnie Yen BMX period film DRUNKEN TAI CHI).  I cannot compress the lightning pace insanity of the plot into a short capsule.  It swirls around you and leaves you limp with its 90 minute barage of weird characters, goofy nonsense and quite spectacular fight-sequences. DRUNKEN WU TANG is a face-melter of the highest order.
