HARD DAY’S NIGHT, A

Before they got all pretentious and experimental The Beatles were singing songs with catchy melodies and having a good laugh at themselves. A HARD DAY'S NIGHT was pretty much only made because the British foursome was popular and it would help promote their album. The film Richard Lester, Paul, John, George and Ringo end up making is a celebration of good times. Free from the usual film plot the move weaves from one place to another with ease. It's a hell of a fun ride.
